OUR PASTOR

Our Pastor, Bro. Robert Schrader and his wife, Rhonda came to us in
November 2018. Bro. Robert grew up in the area and has a sincere love
for our community. (A little known fact is that he preached our very
first service at Clearview on August 3, 2003.) Sis. Rhonda was raised in
Ringgold, Georgia and has been involved in church ministry her entire
life.

They met in 1989 in Trenton, Georgia at a Youth Tent Revival hosted by
Sis. Rhonda’s home church at the time from East Brainerd, TN. Though
the two of them exchanged no words that night, on her drive home with
her family, she told them she has just met the man she was going to
marry. A few short months later, they had their first date, and as they
say, the rest is history. They married December 29, 1990 and have one
daughter and son-in-law, Reagan & Cameron Greenwood and a
grandson, Pruitt “PJ” Greenwood.

Before coming to Clearview, they had served in various capacities
throughout the years, including AWANA as Commander/Director;
Youth Pastor; Minister of Music; Sunday School Teachers; Men’s &
Ladies’ Ministries; as well as Drama Team Leaders.

Bro. Robert was called to preach in 2003 and was ordained into the
Gospel Ministry in 2008. He has a strong vision of seeing our church
grow both spiritually and physically.

Aside from pastoring, Bro. Robert is also a Licensed Funeral Director
using this ministry to serve many families in their time of grief.

Romans 10:15 (KJV) “And how shall they preach, except they be sent?
as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel
of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”

OUR ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Our Associate Pastor, Brother Rodney Romans and his wife, Sister Kim have been members of CBC since it was established in 2004. Rodney has  grown  up and served our small but growing community his whole life. He is known for lending a helping hand to anyone he meets. Kim was born and raised in Fort Payne, AL, but has lived and served this community for 30 years. Kim has a genuine heart for our community to know Christ. Rodney and Kim have served our church in many ways including youth leadership, Sunday nursery, and women’s ministry, but more so desire to live out a life long ministry in their everyday lives showing and leading people to Christ.

Rodney was ordained into ministry on August 18, 2019 along side Sister Kim and his beautiful family. Rodney and Kim have raised two girls in ministry, Kaitlyn Roberts and Cassidy Scott. They both are married now to two wonderful men, Matthew Roberts and Dylan Scott. But Rodney and Kim’s true pride and joy are their two grandsons: Scout and Finn Roberts.
